Retro Garden was half featured in a letter written to the North Wales Weekly News (by me). Below is the letter:-

Congrats. Back in the mid '90s, if you just launched a website you would show up in a dozen newspapers and magazines. Oddly, a site in 1996 would get more traffic than one does now even though millions more surf the net. (Back then it was easy to launch and have 200 people looking at your site every day without any effort).

Yeah I remember that! I had 200 visitors to my main website, and I got featured in local newspaper.

Of course, things were a hell of a lot smaller back then!

    Cool!

http://c64.gotom.us, my site, gets a lot of visitors -- something like 1000 a month --- but the people that stay for more than a minute or two are around 300 per month, and those who actually comment are maybe 10 percent of that...

It's a tough thing, getting fresh eyes and keeping things going, but I've found that time helps all. For example, I also run a Suzuki fan blog, and with very little input from me it gets a lot of visitors now, simply by nature of the search engines picking up on all of my older, accumulated articles.
