Seriously, this has to be the best FPS of all time. It completely revamped the FPS genre (which had been bogged down by boring Doom clones since 1985. Care to disagree?

InactiveIt did change a lot of FPS's. Before they were fun, but not really story driven, but now all FPS's seem to be story driven.
Still a classic game, and some great multiplayer modes. The games were the rebirth of Team Fortress, and of course Counter Strike.
