Arcade Review

Arcade
Arcades were actually fun places to spend your adolescent years. Games such as Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat and Ridge Racer all began life in arcades, and they really kept their popularity until about 1997 in the UK, when slot machines began to unfortunately take over. Games in the arcade were a little bit special, and the social aspect of gaming (such as “Winner Stays On”) meant I look back at my misspent youth in the Golden Goose in Rhos-on-Sea with a tear in my eye.
You can buy Arcade games from the Retro Games shop on Retro Garden.
